Outreach

We believe in following Jesus’ example of loving others and support several charities and causes. The charities that we are currently actively supporting include:

Mâna Deschisă

Mana Deschisa, a Romanian charity, is a Christian residential centre for the homeless, or for those who are in immediate danger of becoming homeless due to poverty, abuse, domestic violence, emotional problems or substance abuse.

One of our amazing Church members, Vitoria, is currently living in Romania and working for this amazing charity, following God’s call on her life. You can follow her journey here: https://www.facebook.com/My-Year-in-Romania-147600939397976/?ref=br_rs

People Against Poverty

This amazing charity  works with international and UK projects to help change lives by releasing communities from poverty. Their aims are:

  • To feed the hungry, provide shelter, clothe and educate the poor, take care of the sick and bring communities together to help break the cycle of poverty
  • To form communities in the UK to engage with People against Poverty
  • To be a gateway directly enabling our communities here in the UK, to engage with our international communities bringing them both life changing experiences.

We primarily support People Against Poverty through their child sponsorship programme.

Local Initiatives

Swindon Night Shelter

This is an amazing charity seeking to serve those who are homeless, vulnerable and struggling in the local area of Swindon. They offer a hot meal, a chance to shower and wash clothes and a bed for the night. There’s an opportunity to relax, chat, receive advice about help and support in the week and hear God’s word.

Youth for Christ

Swindon Youth for Christ exists to share the good news with the young people of Swindon, and to have a positive influence on young people’s lives. We work together with people from all walks of life; the young and the elderly; the rich and the poor; and people of all faiths or none… and together we make a difference. We are supporting YFC both financially and by volunteering time as a Church family.
