I’m 19, I have been a part of JD Church since the day it started and have seen how the Church has grown both physically and spiritually over the last few years. It has been an amazing church to grow up in and being part of this church family has helped me so much im my own walk with God. I have a huge passion for worship and feel this is a calling in my life, as I love being used by God to touch people’s lives through my worship on a sunday it is my way of expressing my love for Jesus and love to be used by the Holy Spirit to see so many people worshipping Him with everything they have. I finished my A Levels last year and after what felt like a big roller coaster of emotions God made a way for me to be offered a place at university. As I brought my thoughts to God he began to make it clear that what he wanted was for me to choose him and take a year of my life to dedicate to him. So that’s exactly what I did. I decided to take a gap year volunteering at JD Church whilst saving money for university. He put a love in my heart for the youth of Swindon and I am so excited to see what he will do this year and am excited to be used in whatever way he chooses to use me in. This will no doubt be a challenge for me but I know it’s what God wants and I will no doubt grow so much in my worship, hopefully make an impact in the youth and be used as a tool to be there for them and also grow in my relationship with God, and I think this year is going to be awesome.
